Gems

Every few years, a particularly sweet event happens at the winery, the bottling of a port-style wine and Argaman wine.
This exciting event will always follow a fine and high-quality vintage that took place long time before bottling, sometimes even 10 years back, after a long and impressive aging in French oak barrels.
These two wines are very profound in taste.

Port-style wine

Port-style wine is produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes
following the ancient tradition practiced in Portugal, homeland of Porto wine.

The wine was aged for 120 months in French oak barrels
using an ancient method of extracting color and flavors.

The grapes were grown in the area of Kfar Yuval in Upper Galilee and were harvested late in season,
when sugar levels are high so the taste is highly concentrated.

Aging in French oak barrels for years gives the wine an aroma of black berries
and roasted oak and complex flavors of caramel, vanilla, tobacco
and dark chocolate.
The ending is warm and seemingly endless.
The percentage of alcohol is 22%.

The Argaman wine

This wine is reminiscent of sweet wines of ancient origins from our grandparents’ house,
kept in crystal bottles spreading a sweet scent in the old wooden cabinet,
bringing up nostalgic memories of distant lands and close family.

The flavors here are also sweet and complex, of candies, cherries, and honey.
The percentage of alcohol is 16%.

This is a unique series of limited editions, which is sold at the winery only.
