among them – Kerem Haruach, Sha’al and Kidmat Tzvi
The soil is basaltic and uniform and the climate has a great influence,
as the higher you go, the temperatures drop, especially at night.
In the winter the vineyards may be covered with snow.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Petit Verdot
and Marselan grapes are grown in these vineyards.
Planted at an altitude of 650-900 meters.
In this area, the soil is diverse and therefore greatly influences the terroir.
The soil types are mainly calcareous rock, terra rossa and basalt.
Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache, Cabernet Franc, Merlot
and Barbara grapes are grown in these vineyards.
Planted at a height of 200-400 meters,
among them – Binyamina and Zichron Yaakov.
In this area the composition of the soil
includes calcareous rock, volcanic tuff and alluvial soil.
Malbec, Shiraz and Carignan grapes
are grown in these vineyards.
